I have a Ford REX system that I fitted to mine and if you've got kids they're a must.Have seen a lot of non genuine units that look tacky so I went with the genuine kit because it fits a lot neater.Plus the genuine one intergrates alot easier to the car wiring and audio system.

Can the REX system be added at a later date after the car has been built?

Yep its a dealer fit accessory.

phase_3_pashen's system is HOT! dunno what it is exactly but its high quality. I know he's got that blaupunkt tap into the icc, but he's got an aftermarket roof mount dvd screen too.

What he said. The whole kit cost $2840 and I installed it myself.Takes about 2-3 hours and the instructions are quite easy to follow. The only thing is that you need good quality tools(electrical crimpers and a decent pop riveter).

I've got a Blaupunkt DVD-ME2 using the colour ICC screen. Works good but I think the dvd player itself is a bit basic. I'd like to upgrade to an alpine or something similar.

Dunno if you've seen my setup Jeff.

DVD unit in the psgr airbag hollow, and screen unit comes out from where the tissue holder is.

Gone through it in another thread somewhere in he site.

All work done by that genius they call Goldie.

Total cost under $700, as opposed to min$2000 for all on eone dvd player & screen.
