Guys,

how can there be such a difference between JB's 300rwkw and say, for eg. Big Mick's 267rwkw?

Thanks

C

Simple answer really, I still have the standard factory intercooler. JB is really at stage 2.5 with the larger APS IC.

I agree totally...Can't wait for the gates to open Wednesday... :w00t2: after the weekend cruise traction might be a problem :w00t2: ...might run street slicks to help though

Big Mick,I still have the stock bov but I think the waste gate actuator was changed...but I'm not certain, will let you know

Well done John, based on what I saw on the weekend, both by the smile on your face, and the speed on the road, your car is very quick.

Good luck at WSID.

Also, another good job by Spiro.

understand!

ahuh - the quater mile time is a good judge of power

Not trying to be too pedantic here but the 1/4 mile mph is generally regarded as a better indicated of power rather than the elapsed time.

The elapsed time is really about how well your transferring that power to the track, for the given mph.

Thanks JB, look forward to reading about how well you go on Wednesday, best of luck.

Cheers,

Mick

this is true if your comparing the same cars with the same motors..for example my cortina runs 11.40@117mph with 298rwhp and my xr runs 12.3@114mph with 362rwhp.. I guess its all just crap really... the best way to compare cars is if they all went on the same dyno in the same gear and in the same temperature...

just my opinion...

hope that helps a bit HOOT & CRISSO
