Pulled up at a set of lights today, close to work, straight into an 80 zone when green...

Being close to work, I know the area well and travel it every day. Expensive Daewoo pulled up next to me and gave me the nod, so OK I thought, I will see how we go...lights went green, was ahead of him until 80kms/h, I then took my foot off the go go pedal due to the fixed speed camera...very well sign posted...

...he continued to accelerate to pass me, he must have got done by the camera...I am just hoping he didn't think he 'beat' me...I took the next exit, hence didn't get to laugh at hm!

I finally had the chance to race my wife in her VY SS, and I have never raced such a cheat in my life, here I am parked at the lights when she is slowly rolling past me to a half car length lead, I am busy yelling out to her calling her a cheat when the light goes green and I am not watching, needless to say I didnt win and she has now told everyone at work she hammered me. :w00t2:

It's really bad when 15 year olds give you sh*t cause your wife told them she kicked your ass.

Damn,

Perhaps you should trade in the T and get a Kia ???

Not worthy of a real car are you??? Like the others have told you, go stand in the corner for 30 minutes and then write 100 times on the blackboard; ' I must use the excellarator to propel the car forward and not use the brake!!!'............

The accelerator may be more efficient at propelling the car forward! :w00t2:

I had the same thing happen on the F3 I was racing a EF XR8 but there is a speed camera going down the hill (Sydney-Newcastle)going to Ourimbah, there are signs leading up to the camera saying "speed cameras used in this area" and im like "where the f**k is the camera because the other car is catching up". When I finally see the camera I start slowing down to just under 110 then the xr8 hammers past me with the driver waving at me going past the camera. He saw the camera but it was too late as he couldnt slow down in time. Pretty funny but I take it easy now, it isnt worth it.

Going throught some tight and well known bends last night to the north of sydney, a bit quick I might add. I was following a friend in his new GT. As Im shifting down to 2nd pulling into a tight left, the little "hand break" (my wife) starts singing some bull sh*t song about our pet parot. Exiting the corner I told her that if she pulls that crap again she'll soon find herself riding a bus home.

To my suprise (because I thought I'd be heading for a night alone on the couch) she apologised, which was a first for the little "hand break"

All this left me thinking "flogging your XR can bring you closer to the ones you love".
