See the next picture.

Air goes through the turbo, then goes directly down near the bottom of the motor, then in an S shape goes into the bottom of the intercooler. It goes through the intercooler, then comes out of the intercooler on the other side at the very top of the intercooler (weird), then the hose goes back over the top of the intercooler to the side where it entered, then up the inside of the guard, then through the inner guard (circled, it is very narrow here), then up and back over the top of the motor and into the inlet plenum.

The inefficient factory design is why I went the Nizpro path in the first place.

The air intake is moved to the left side, near the turbo, with a very short runner length to the turbo, then down and into the much larger intercooler, then out the other side and straight into a new inlet plenum.

Over 5 metres of inlet piping is removed.

Much better throttle response, and the shortest and most efficient inlet piping, as with my car in the attached picture.

I hope this answers the original question ... the thread was fun while it lasted.

Onya Brian...

glad we got that sorted out.

The original question was ambiguous.... I honestly thought he was after pics of the air flow as in a wind tunnel test.

Couldn't find any of an XR6T though, but did find a sample. see below.

But hey, that's NOT what he wanted anyway.

gees.. just can't please some people.

I was almost about to do a similar thing... take a picture of my car, then draw some white lines showing how the air would flow over the car ..... I believe that would also answer the original question.
