Just a couple of quick questions

1. I got my car dyno'd a couple of day ago and it came at with 185.9rwkw(stock) just wanted to see who else has done it and what did they get?

2. At the dyno the guy said I had a "miss" in the car and I have told ford but I wondering if anyone as had one, and whats causing it. and should I tell ford how to fix it:)

3. (bit of a weird question but hey) Does anyone know how the DTE gets worked out? before my crash a full tank said 462 got it back and went up to 522 but lately it alwats says 482 :banghead: does anyone know how it is worked out??

thanks..

Mate we are having a dyno day in Sydney soon...come along..185's the norm for an stock car... :banghead:

If your car is missing, get it back to Ford and let them worry about it...

Your DTE will vary with the way the car is driven and should improve as the motor loosens up...

I think I read by a post a while back that the DTE is on averages of the last few tanks that have gone through your car...

so if tank 1 got you 380, tank 2 gave you 420, and third tank gave you 400, the next fill up would show 400 ...

dunno if its true or not, but that's what I read a while back

DTE is worked out by using two things - your average fuel consumption calculated over the preceeding 15 mins or so, and the contents remaining in the tank ...

And it isn't particularly accurate.

When my T was new I was able to get the DTE down to 2 k's.

Then I ran out of juice with the DTE reading 42k's.

Bugger! It happened on a Sunday with the cheese and kisses and tin lids in the car.
