Good work, xrdreaming.

Still this makes for very uneven ground when racing cars together and doesn't make sense considering the poor times of cars like the 370kw CSV Late model camira only doing 13's in PCOTY, as well as the Lambo. Either the drivers of these cars are hopeless at stalling the car, or it's not capable of doing so.

Take the Audi RS, 330KW 0-100 in under 5 seconds but does 13's on the 400. A 330kw falcon is slower over the 0-100 but kicks it in the 400's. Smells like no stalling for the RS to me...(mind you the RS is AWD)

It's not just about how many KW a car has. Turbo's deliver their power differently to Na's.

The RS has probably got a :w00t2: load less tourque than the falcon and may be geared slightly different giving it slower times. same with the CSV 370Kw.

Can you please explain how stalling a car up is "uneven ground" when both cars are able to either stall up or dump the clutch??

You were wrong and that's that. Back to topic!!

Geeseman,

what were these cars designed to do ?? Do you honestly believe that the likes of Motor & Wheels do not launch the test cars as hard as possible with a view to giving the layperson an indication of what the car WILL do.

Based on philosophy when you next have a red light battle do you say to the guy in the HSV/SS/WRX " no stalling or clutch dumps" just clean racing ?

PSI

Well if the HSV doesnt stall it up and the WRX launches at 6000+++ rpm then the HSV has no hope and vice versa. I'm not saying it's a good idea having a run at the traffic lights but if subie doesnt launch at high revs the he'll be left behind same with the HSV or if a T doesnt stall up..

Firstly , lucky Bast#rd , 2 fine beasts there.

Looks like slicks required for the manual.

Fantastic time for the auto  particularly if this

was at Willowbank. You should take Craig up on a run at Calder in the cooler air,

he could do with a good fright

BTW which one is you preferred daily driver ? nice choice to have to make

Ran the T at WSID last night and on my last run, ran a PB of 13.365 @ 103.25mph... I was stoked.

My mods: unichip+injectors/valve springs and usual auto tranny cooling/strengthening @ 240rwkw.

I had a total of four runs on the night and improved on each....

ET_______Mph_____60`

13.878 --- 104.82 --- 2.29

13.748 --- 104.67 --- 2.20

13.564 --- 103.79 --- 2.17

13.365 --- 103.25 --- 2.12

Conditions on the track seemed ideal... a cool and still 10 degrees.

The only downer of the night was on the last run... my mates SS ran a PB of 13.363 (pipped by 2,000th of a sec!)... still it was a great duel and and a great way to end the night.

Another big thanks to Spiro at Autotech for sorting me out with new valve springs and a re-tune.
