Im always getting around 16l/100km as I am a leadfoot and do not pay for fuel.

I do not think I have ever got more than 380km from a tank in city driving. On the highway it drops, but this depends on how many road blocks are on the road.

Mine does about 15l per 100km. I usually drive main roads on the weekends and a bit of city driving during the week, not much though as I generally get a work car. That includes generally strong pull away from lights and opening it up on the freeways or rural areas. I'm happy with that.

After reading this thread.....

Write now the CEO's of BP Aus, Caltex Aus and Shell, are all sharing a Cognac in some office with Assyrian marble floors, Endangered Bear and Tiger skin rugs and are sitting in Rhino leather Indonesian Ceder chairs smoking Cuban cigars thinking about what price to make the oil tomorrow.....

At the same time, The bleeding heart of Australia, The little Aussie battler, our dear Mr Howard who knows all and fears nothing, is calling an emergancy meeting of cabnit in order to get approval to double the Taxes on all premium fuels and also to add an excise to BA XR owners.....

Also, the greenies have started petitioning government to ban all cars over 2 cylinders and make the owners of preformance cars say sorry to a possum in their local neighborhood.....

Sorry all, just had skittles for dinner. sugar sugar sugar :smilielol:

I do some City and Freeway Driving with a heavy foor now and then ( I am Human) and as from new have not reset the trip meter. With 15000 Kms on the clock am averaging 12.7 overall using Shell Optimax or Caltex Vortex. I am happy with that.

Am averaging 15.1 at the moment but only done 1000k's so I expect that will improve once the engine has been run in. Doesn't really matter but cause I don't pay for the fuel. Drive fairly normally most of the time but do tend to give it a good squirt when the opportunity arises. Unfortuantly the last time the opportunity arose I was passing an R8 with traction control off through a roundabout a little in-excess of the speed limit, with a mild amout of oversteer at aroud 1 or 2 am .... with an unmarked cop quietly observing the lovely manova :k24t: (bugga).
