It was venom red with a phantom bonnet and was wearing some Typhoon body bits and Typhoon badges but still had the standard XR6 spoiler, so must have been an early protype build. The engineer driving it was bundled up and questioned and would not deny it was a six speed manual or deny that it will be released with the series 2 in September. So what if the F6 canabalises GT sales ? They are almost the same price, and better is better. Look what Porsche has done with their turbo-charged 6's? Myself, Rob and Ross saw some badges at FPV, that certainly arent in production yet, but they were in exactly the same font as the current GT badge.... It also didn't have a bulge, it was a standard XR6 bonnet. If it was a wannabe then why was a Ford engineer driving it.
