Tex Member 56 Member For: 20y 8m 6d Location: Brisbane Posted 21/07/04 02:30 AM Share Posted 21/07/04 02:30 AM (edited) I recently had one fitted to my car and they had to cut the wiring. The issue is in using Ford plugs which they are waiting on permission for.It would have suited me much better to have pug in as I only keep my cars for twelve months and will have to have it removed before sale. However they do a great job of installing and it is worth it for the extra kw's I now have 230rwkw in NON shootout mode. The plug in ones are only available for the WRX at the moment Edited 21/07/04 02:32 AM by Tex
Guest LOK@ChipTorque Guests Posted 21/07/04 08:56 AM Share Posted 21/07/04 08:56 AM Thanks Tex,If/When Ford give us official permission to use the connectors, we'll have a harness straight away. We've drawn up the circuit boards etc. It's all just waiting patiently for approval. (They do own the rights to the connector after all)Lachlan

Perhaps the best way to say it is:"They haven't said no yet!"I actually see that as a promising answer as you normally get a "NO" fairly quickly if it's never going to come off but, we might have some conditions for use etc. etc.I'll just be happy to get the go ahead so we can make the harnesses like we have for Subaru and Mitsubishi.CheersLOK11
