I couldnt open the article...

but sounds like a farily dangerous job... night time driving at 220kph to check for grime? what happens if you end up into a spin?

:whistle: Worked out there for 28 years and the only vehicles I have ever seen are Nissan Patrols and 4wd utes. And I do work nights often. Mind u it would be fun to take the t out there but SACL would book u for speeding.

The fricton test at adelaide used to be done with a GTHO!!!! :yikes:

Now they just use a crappy 4wd :yikes:

The ASA fireys once got asked if they want clearance for takeoff when they were testing their new ss ute :blink:
