My Feb 04' GT may have a test set of these pads cause I've had no squeal at all in 11,000k's, but the front mags need serious dust removal every two weeks, no hint of shudder though even braking from 200km/h, and no I havent had her faster than this-YET!!!

I had these new pads fitted today and I can honestly say that FORD finally got something right, not even the slightest bit of squeal so far. Also in my opinion they don't feel any different to the old ones in respect to stopping power, but who cares if they don't squeal. I haven't noticed any additional dust but it's still early days.

Break In or just plain Break Cro?

Well at least you'd see if the Premo's are up to your rigarous standard or not...

While your letting the GT get massacred Mercturbo, sign me up for Drivetrain inspection, I'll report back to you with every speed up to the revlimiter in each gear...and whats left of said drivetrain...in my pockets....very small pockets

Speaking of limiters, I took a manual for a test drive the other day, and I couldn't find out what the top speed is in 4th gear.

I was approaching 180 or 190 and decided to back off....

I love my premium brakes, I do not seem to have the squealing issues that a lot of you guys seem to be experiencing, but the brake dust on the wheels is a pain..

When washing the car I now put old rags under the front wheels to stop my drive way being stained from the brake dust/water combination.

Cro, it is good to see that a near death experience has tempered your high velocity ways :k24t:

Cheers
