( the force needed to compress springs is well lots) But truthfully if you can spin a spanner and have the spring compressors (they are relativley cheap to buy) you chouldn't have any problems and assuming the Kamc kit doesn't need to be adjusted go for it just be careful Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/11798-help/#findComment-142854 Share on other sites

Quoted $460.oo for install of springs, camber kit, front and rear wheel alignment. Plus he "recommended" that I should replace all the shockswith bilsteins at approx $1800.00. Me thinks he thinks me stupid or does the $ for fitting sound correct??Cragin Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/11798-help/#findComment-142865 Share on other sites

I'm wondering if you couldn't get your dealer to do it.... Gregory's have done some Herrod work on my brother's Pursuit. I'm sure they wouldn't be too over the top on labour charges.Grant Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/11798-help/#findComment-142868 Share on other sites
Pretzel EMS makes MAGIC MUMBO ! Member 192 Member For: 21y 4m 1d Location: Melbourne Posted 13/07/04 06:06 AM Share Posted 13/07/04 06:06 AM Craign,I did something very similar (Purchased springs seperate from having them installed) and from memory my installation cost was something like $200-$300 including supply and fit of Camber kit, and wheel alignment. Also a follow up whell alignment a couple of weeks later to make sure nothing changed once it all settled down!I'd shop around a little bit !
