lol glenn

well this should get rid of it, if not, somthing wrong with your nvidia card...

go to Start > Control Panel *click*

in the control panel screen, if you are using "Category" view, switch that to "Classic" view on the left hand tool bar...

then look for "NVIDIA nView Desktop Manager"

you will see a window like this one

nv1.jpg

see the button labled "Disable nView" ?

click it and all that nview crap should dissapear and then that window should look like this

nv2.jpg

hope it worked for you

by a looking at a few of your posts in this thread glenn, it seems that your having one hell of a day...

I had a biga$$ amount of popups and crap (gain mainly) goin on in my computer...

easy way to beat it?

burn all the stuff you want onto a few cd's and then format!

then install adaware 6, antivirus proggie etc

but with adaware... you want to have the professional version (not free, but can download it from kazaalite 5mb) and then switch on Adwatch, it alerts you to whenever an ad pops up, or when something is trying write somthing to your registry (and you can allow it or block it, and if u aint sure what it is, go to google and type what the process is called that is trying to write to the reg and it will give you some sites that will tell you if that process is bad or not.

but if your gonna format, remember to take down all details, like loggin into internet, numbers, passwords, make sure you have a driver disk (a must!)
