Ok. try these I have the autospeed water spray controller that can be used for water injection too. Very interesting as they show you the atomosation nozzles needed.

Another good idea is to fit the wagon spray windows washer bottle to the car giving more capacity and second pump position.

I understand where your coming from SR-71 Blackbird.

But I feel there could be some good results to be gained from the T considering it's Intake restrictions and lack of suppliers and competitive prices to make upgrading the IC a fiscal option for most T moders. The only options at present are APS & Nizpro who offer intercooler upgrades and they are quite expensive if you want to purchase seperately. Which is OK because they have done a lot of R&D and need to recoup costs and are both great products in their own right.

You can purchase a Aquamist Water INJ SYS 2C Comp Kit & Race pump for $1084 + GST that uses a map to control it operation. Which Lachlan has posted the Xede can do.

As nowone has tried it yet I think It would be a good experiment. There seems to be no reason why there should be no performance gain.

Here is a link that has some good info for those that would like to read it and they can make up their minds and hopefully post their thoughts. :pooh:

Let's keep the Brain juices flowing.

that's a great read there Macka, good posting :pooh:

Good info blackbird, :spoton:

Gives me more confidence to get one, even though some people have negetive views. It all depends on your own experiences and wether you've done it properly or did a backyard job.

There must be something in this water injection, WRC cars use it. Some of the quicker drag cars use it. F1 used it on their turbo cars. The Yanks are reporting some big power increases using WI on their turbo & supercharged diesels. Link below

Suppose the only way to find out is to install one get the Xede retuned & see what happens.

A couple of thing to remember. If nozzle is placed before turbo inlet secure nozzle it will surely damage your turbine wheel if sucked through. I am not sure of the consequences of water droplets hitting the blade at speed if it will do damage or warp the shaft both undesirable.

There has been much debate on the water injection forum that I have been visiting over in the state, about where the best place to fit the nozzle is. Some people are using the aquamist system that spray the water in a fog and have located the injector in front and and pointing at the centre of the turbine and say that there is no reported damage and that it gives the best results because its cooling the air charge at it's highest compression point. The air is cooler before it gets to the IC which lowers the air temp even more and any water that has'nt been evaporated forms inside the IC and help absorb heat . Others are playing it safe and have the injector just before to throttle body.

Some fit an injector on the turbo side of the IC as well.
