I think Hypnodoc and Genebaby have them on their cars (not sure which brand) so I suggest you contact them for feedback.

Just got a Herrod Helix spacer fitted today.

Will let you guys know if it makes a diff. I am currently sitting on 16.5L/100KM.

Looks nice though?

the 8 hump looks great but can the 8's punch match the launch of the T and that leaves that big grin on your face. Unless you supercharge the 8

I did not know the XRT's were that much better at launch? Seeing as the Turbo doesn't kick in that low down? :smilielol:

the XR8 leaves a grin on my face everytime I drive it

nothing better then goin from 1500rpm in second up to 5000rpm in a small amount of time, it leaves a grin everytime, nothing beats that V8 sounds...

Yeah but what you are forgetting is that its not a four cylinder that the turbo is bolted on to, even with out the turbo the six is still 185 kilowatts and the turbo gives it that extra go. Dont forget its only the last few years that stock v8`s have seen over 185 kw.

Turbo kicks the 8's arse every time. The only advantage to the 8 is the sound and you need to thrash the hell out of it to hear the engine in-car. Fuel economy sux, but the bonnet is great.

Buy a T, get a chip and a bonnet and you're done

I have the Herrod Helix on my car (hypnodoc's old one as he has got the 80mmTB with the Batten Helix). Personally I'd talk to Barry and get one of his, heaps cheaper.

SS CAI and BMC filter will give you about 10kw's extra.

Underdrives 10kw's and the TB helix about 4kw's

The plegnem spacer is proving to give about 2 kw's but heaps of torque (talk to Barry about exact figures).

Rocket's FPV Persuite is getting mid 12's at Calder, all from bolt-ons. :pinch:
