Thanks Geea,

Yeh, I will be having a go soon. I haven't been down the track for some time so the first few goes might be a little slow but it will still be fun.

Do you think I'll have enough grunt to get close breaking into the 12's?

By the way  great time last night keep the good times rollin.

I'm gunna try and catch you. Probably later than sooner.

Running a 12 with that rwkw would depend on a few things. I ran a 13.3 when I had 233rwkw's. The tune was fairly conservative and was gentle on the driveline by not bringing the power on to early. If your 237rwkw's is comparable to my 233 and is a more agressive tune I think it would be possible. It would need the perfect run and a bit of luck.

Brian had a good idea too. Get a switch put in and have your tuner do a second tune for 98 petrol it could help.

I do like the idea of having that function on the chiptorque chip, that's one plus over the unichip.

I like the idea of the switch and 2nd map. Will the Auto handle it or should I have some work done on it first. Already had one replacement and have lost a little confidence in the stength of the box. :ermm:

Simon has the boost coming on early in the tune compared to the standard settings.

I'd be inclined to get the auto strengthened. The longer you leave it the more chance it will develop other problems that will also need to be rectified before you strengthen the box.

I got my auto strengthened less than a week after the first one was replaced under warrenty by Ford.

thanks mate, :ermm:

Will make some inquiries. I'll give the people who did yours a ring. Maybe a few other members have some suggestions about auto upgrades.
