Hi fellow xr6turbo lovers.

Just finished second stage of mods and cost to date is $2500 I now have 237 rwkw using pulp 95ron. Do think this is a good result?

I know that I could probably get more kw using 98 ron but it is not readily available in my area, so I had it tuned on 95ron.

The car is even more of a pleasure to drive than before.

The extra power becomes addictive does'nt it. :k24t:

Sounds good to me, sounds like about 300kW at the fly in your auto. Sounds like the price of the newer APS Phase I kit too.

What are you mods Mackmaster T?

Sounds like more than a phase 1 to me especially on 95.

 Thanks guys for the good vibes,

I have gone in a different direction than most. No affillation to one particular tuner. I have used different components form different tuners. That in my opinon offer exellence in their field.

Mods used Herreod exhaust cat back. BMC Air filter, Exed chip tuned by nizpro.

Now

I will talk to APS to see what they have to offer in components and knowlege with injectors and auto trans upgrades. I plan to use the best components from all sources to get more power. Because their are so many variations and combinations of components from all tuners I believe that a combination of all will give the best result. I am also in the process of designing & developing my own intake system too.

Thanks Geea,

Yeh, I will be having a go soon. I haven't been down the track for some time so the first few goes might be a little slow but it will still be fun.

Do you think I'll have enough grunt to get close breaking into the 12's? :ermm:

By the way  great time last night keep the good times rollin.

I'm gunna try and catch you. Probably later than sooner. :w00t2:

I have 258 rwkw and ran a 12.656 so with 237rwkw I dont think you would be very far from a 12 sec run. depends on how accurate the dyno was.

Well done Macka.

You could have done what Geea and I have done. In your case you could have a 2nd XEDE map setup for 98 octane, to give you that extra power boost.

You just flip a switch to do an instant change between maps, and you don't even have to turn the motor off.
