I have 433rwhp and a 5 speed t5. apart from the 5th gear syncro

being replaced on recall I have had no problems with it and I have just clocked up 30,000 kms of hard driving.

Can I ask is it APS Phase III, Nizpro, or something else?

It's good to hear of somebody with some success with the T5 longterm and that sort of power :spoton:

Also when you say "Hard Driving" what do you mean as some other guys on here have quite different stories on the T5's reliability...

I do believe he gets some big raps on this site and a fair share of criticism so it would have gone a long way to silensing the knockers by being up front.

Hey Jason I don't know why you feel I have to confirm or deny what APS does during development periods ( many aspects of business are not discussed in a public forum nor should they be)...........you see we test many different options and some options are better than others..............I have stated on many occasions that I am not a great lover of the Tremec manual transmission............I was simply trying to avoid commenting and turning this thread into another sh*t fight, best to leave it at that.

If the series II XR6T does indeed receive a 6 speed tremec or 6 speed getrag well then that's fine either way..........we all live with what Ford decide to do, though make no mistake the Getrag is by far the superior transmission and if we are lucky enough to get the Getrag trans that would be simply awesome in the XR6T. :hrmm:

Honestly I just think you would have avoided most of the :puke: by simply saying you did (we even ended up with digital pics)... I can understand that you have a dislike for the gearbox but you did use it.......

For the record it doesn't really affect anything as honestly I am extremely happy with all the various mod options I have and when the time comes (really only waiting for more K's on the car) ... I will decide and go for it (and it could be anything) :)

My question is what are you bringing to Sydneys Ford v Holden?

Would need 2 Getrags to handle 1500 Nm of torque from the TT LS1..................I think we all know when your serious about running really quick 1/4 mile times (sub 9 secs) a built auto is the way to go. :k24t:
