So I got my jack out for the first time..........after about 15 minutes of trying to jack the ute up I was throwing expletives everywhere. The design of this jack is totally screwed up IMO ! The jack itself is Ok its the handle that caused me grief. If you dont rip your hands apart you knock the tools against your panels. Can I suggest that if you have never used it dont leave it until you get a flat. Try it now & get used to it. Anyone else had issues ??? It seems to take forever and a day to use the standard handle that rips your hands apart. That's why I bought a Sidchrome socket and bar thingy to make the job alot easier. I think you've juat solved a problem for me with this question. I am also headed for the snow at the end of August and was not going to take the Turbo due to earlier comments from other Forum Members on the issue of the Mag Wheels getting damaged. As a result, I was going to take our AUII Futura.I guess it is possible to take the wheels off the Futura and put them on the Turbo ( assuming the nuts line up ).I hope this isn't a stupid question....but anyone see any problems with this ? slapnut Member 216 Member For: 21y 2m 19d Location: Siddie Posted 08/07/04 10:06 AM Share Posted 08/07/04 10:06 AM BTW - the jack is the worst I've ever used and the handle is absolute As others ahve done, I have replaced the handle with a socket and a Sidchrome handle. This is much better. The jack still goes up on an angle though. What a piece of crap.
