Do you think a T with a APS phase 1 could beat a Clubsport in straight line acceleration? If not what about Phase 2?

A phase 2 T will easily beat a stock clubby, can sometimes be touch and go with the modded ones as there are some quickies about.

Everyone is complaining about not gettin any runs. If it's street encounters that you want then you have to pick the right day and time to go looking. You have to make your apponent selection carefully, kinda like ordering dinner off the menu. Lots of cars that run under the 13sec bracket don't usually get driven to and from work. So Friday and Saturday nights plus Sunday afternoon I think are the best times to go for a cruz and don't think your untouchable in a T cuz I've seen a few get beaten. Not usual by commodores though.

I had a little play wednesday night after the origin. Was heading home on one Brissy's main drags and a curious Calais (VX) Supercharged cruised gently past me. We sta near each other for quite some time before being pulled up by some traffic lights. I figured he wouldn't bother rtying, but just in case I'll make a brisk take off.

Turns out he wasn't gonna go so I resumed the speed limit and and continued on only to find him zipping up my side and kicking back a gear to entice me to race.

I ignored him till I got to the Gateway motorway bridge.

You see the intersection here has two sets of lights. One on each side of the bridge. You get stopped at one, and the other goes green. When yours go green the other turns yellow. You have about 50m to cover in that time to get through them. Almost no one ever does make it unless you are driving a sub 15sec car.

This is the best part. I regularly launch through these lights to easily make it thorugh the next barely going over 70kmh speed limit.

So this Calais lines me up, at these lights. They go green and I am into it, good hookup in 1st and start to put distance on him, as the tacho swings past 4000rpm the tyres let loose and I bag em up about 10m from the yellow lights and start going bradside. The Calais is behind and I am now taking second with a decent spin and I am through the lights! I look behind me and the poor old Calais is on the ABS and pulls up a couple of meters into the intersection!! The lights have gone red.

Lucky it was late and there where no cars. He got his arse handed to him! Got beaten through the lights by a ute that was getting sideways under full power. Go to love cold nights!

Had a new Alfa try to keep up with me on the Stuart Hwy....

He was doing well till we passed 190 Kph.

Over about 210 the T starts getting a skippy the kangaroo If the road isn't dead smooth, besides the Fu$%*&g cruise control won't work above 200.....
