Guest 6six6 Guests Posted 28/07/04 11:38 PM Share Posted 28/07/04 11:38 PM Happy to say that I think Last night was a great night, it was a freezing 9 degrees. Our turn out was much smaller than I would have liked 19 cars, but was to be expected with the changing of the dates, days etc and the short notice. The organization at the track was excellent. This was officially the first time that WSID has ever done a staging lane hire. I thought it worked a treat with everybody knowing what to do & where to go with the added bonus of being able to pick your opponent anytime you wanted. For me the highlights of the night were.WilliamT and his impressive display of a radiator bursting ¼ mile wash down and the 1/2 wait .Oztrack winning the $300 for his reaction time. (btw CAI hire is $250) DucatiJB running a 12.6, John you are getting too fast for me mate!! Cat12z, our sponsor Craig from Craig’s automatics running a 10.94 @ 120.56mph before being asked to leave the track. VxCalaisZzz unfortunately broke a blower belt and left early. MadManz driving a brand new GTP it was fun watching your face after you kept getting faster. (oh btw MadManz, can I quote what you said last week “LMAO A Berlina”) Bennett, with a classic display of the 1/8 mile burnout.Crisso, with a very tough 10 second Na LS1 ute And my own new PB of 12.63 @ 107.53 mph 60’ 1.78 Obviously I can’t remember everybody’s times so please post them up.I would also like to hear your honest feedback on the night whether it be good or bad, without feedback we can’t improve the future drag nights. A huge thanks to all the participants and the help of , www.fordforums.com www.fordXR6Turbo.com and www.streetcommodores.com for making the second V8Owners.com event a great night.Look forward to our next event coming up shortly.RegardsPeter

My hat goes off to you Peter for organising the night. Obviously it would have been better to have a few more T`s there but that's life.My best time was a 13.64 @ 100.78mph, 60ft = 2.064.My worst time was an 18.5@ 85mph thanks to Will "cleaning" the left lane with his coolant. The highlight of the night was seeing JB pull a 12.6 after an ordinary start to the night, followed closely by his burnout on his 5th runThanks again Peter Matt

Where abouts is the hole and is this the only alteration done to the car? Geea.
