420 RWKW with standard engine internals?

Hi all,

Just like to know everyone's thoughts (especially the known engine tuners on here) regarding the APS Stage III + ACHIEVING 420RWKW with completely stock engine internals & running on 98 RON PUMP FUEL!!!!!!!!!

Is this possible ... I would have thought detonation would be unavoidable running 22psi boost with 8.7:1 compression ratio with only 98 RON fuels :beerchug:

Be interesting to know everyones thoughts ....

Nizpro XRT350 engine kit : Harrop 6 piston front ,4 piston rear with two piece 356mm rotors

your bio above wouldn't have anything to do with your question .. would it ???

its not totally stock, well it is apart from valve springs. but alot of bolt on mods its easy to see how its doing it, I got aps II and you can feel the power difference. phase III in a few weeks and im going to 18 psi so I will let you know.

Mate, become a Donating Member and you could read what people think of this sort of posting ... alot of people getting sick of the constant "my D!CK is bigger than yours" sort of arguments ...

I am sure you have a great car ... as does APS ... please leave it at that ... I realise you don't believe them but it could be true ...

Just trying to put some sanity back into this place :)

well, does your Nizpro XRT350 engine kit have anything to do with you starting this thread ??

and geeseman, I'm not stirring the pot ..... I know that hours where spent by the mod-team yesterday over this topic with all the familiar parties .... just don't need a repeat performance .....

but I wouldn't mind finding out some more info myself :spoton:

here is my opinion then ...

22psi and 8.7 on Pulp ... its possible .. why wouldn't it be possible??

the rev limiter has a stronger relationship with an engine letting go than the boost or c/r ... stock or strengthened ..... from my personal experience engines generally let go due to tension failure which is really kicks in at extreme revs

detonation ain't nice on an engine either ... but why would you assume that 22psi and 8.7 and Pulp would neccesitate detonation and the engine letting go ??

If you think I'm comparing pen*s sizes all well and good; for you need to stop being an true believer and question some of these claims.

Yeah it might be possible to produce 420 RWKW with a stock XR6T engine on 98 RON fuel soooooooooooo you try it and get back to me :spoton:

Sorry, maybe I got the wrong impression ... the problem with the internet is it's hard to understand a persons motivation ... But this question was answered by Peter ... I read the post ... he has added a Phase IV component to a Phase III for a 70+ kw improvement ... good on him :)

I am sure we will find out more when they are ready to release this to the public ... I think it is unreal what all these mod companies can do !!!
