It is not hard to look out the front and if dark turn nob, if light turn nob the other way.I do not see the point in having this feature, it was standard with my car, but after you turn the engine and lock the car the bloody lights are still on for another 15sec or so.Be happy you do not have them, I would never have chosen this option if it was a choice, but the luxury pack has it. Auto lights not working during the day? Umm, dont think so!Most of the Telstra wagons have auto lights fitted to them, I drove one today (during the day), and the lights were certainly on and working.........Maybe you are confused with another feature associated with the luxury pack. You CAN get the auto lights feature fitted anytime after delivery, Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/11570-auto-headlights/#findComment-138737 Share on other sites

Is this what happens Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/11570-auto-headlights/#findComment-138755 Share on other sites

Guest jteale Guests Posted 29/06/04 08:54 AM Share Posted 29/06/04 08:54 AM FYI ... The Auto-Headlights with the Lux Pack turn on/off depending on the amount of light reaching a sensor fixed on the dash ... they turn off approx 30 secs after the car is stopped ... I like the feature ... I just leave it on Auto and they work perfectly Pretty sure this feature could not be added post delivery.
