I need specs on what the premium brakes are! 4 pot ap racing/brembos? no idea what they are. somebody told me there is a 6 pot brembo option?! true or not!!?!blacks the best :D The premo brakes use a larger than standard 2 pot PBR caliper + 330ml overlapping oval slotted rotors. That is the best brakes you can get from factory for the XR.If you were buying a FPV these brakes come standard, and you can option 4pot brembo's which have crossed drilled rotors. So the 6pot story is bull.I'm tossing up between some 4pot 330 or 340mm ap racing brakes, or the ford premium brakes for my next car. Same price...just need to find out if the 340's will fit in 17" rims.

All I know is, I have the premium stoppers and I'm amazed at how good they are. I don't think I'll ever have to replace pads, cause you just don't need to put that much pressure on the pedal.... anyho, welcome to the site and have a ball. Oh, and btw ...watchyawearn?
