my auto is as noisey as excited chicks at a tupperware party when its cold, and nice and quite when its warmed up. Is this what everyone else is experiencing.

Look - the noise is normal, try driving a truck!

I think tyre noise, wind noise and the noise of you pants ruffeling in the seat would be more annoying - it sounds tough, like a V8 supercar. Just pretent its something really expensive and sophisticated making the noise, makes it enjoyable to hear it!

I love all the noises and whines and clunks my Turbo makes, reminds me I am driving a PERFORMANCE CAR and not playing a video game or driving a camery.

Geezzz... :tosser:

trust me its not normal after having 325rwkws the gears wear which makes them wine heaps more than normal :spoton:

I have a good mate that is a regular racer at willowbank with an au 200kw xr8, unichip and vortech blower which recently ran 390rwhp. It is running a T5 and although he says it is becoming a touch noisy the box is operating fine. He just drives/races the car smartly. It ran a 12.75@111mph on Wensday nights t/t. The car would have to be 3+yrs old with around 100,000klms, I'm not sure what year the 200kw xr8's were built. Treat them well and they will hang together.

its only really a shift kit mod its suppost to help preserve the bands(stop them flaring between shifts).so as far as shifting is concern it does that really well as my 1/4 mile times show but the facts are that these boxes are out of date and cannot handle the extra hp without extentive modification and $$$$$$$.
