Depends how many options you asked for.

I was at Broadmeadows on friday doing a tour of the production line, and they were saying they finish between 400 and 550 cars a day.

Good luck!

I have had an engine and VIN number for about three weeks now, which to me means my car has been in existance for at least that long.

After a call to FPV yesterday (sick of being told this week, this week, this week...) to find out where in fact my car was, it has been at FPV for 11 days!!!!! I asked if it took that long to fit the turbo plumbing and the answer was a resounding no - so why is it still sitting there after 11 days? Too busy. And it is still not due at the dealership (Brisbane) until LATE next week. Transit is max 3 days, so FPV have the car for a long time! Well over two weeks. Geez.

Just be warned, don't get your hopes up like I have, it feels terrible when they come crashing down! :(

So if my ute makes it to my dealer next Friday, I still won't have it before next weekend.......again!

It is POSSIBLE that the FPV having their open day may have delayed it a day aswell. BTW. Aren't the turbos fitted at Broadmeadows......not FPV?

The Turbo's arive attached to the motor at FPV where all ancilaries are fitted ie all the plumbing and the cooler etc then the final tuning is done. ;)

I see. I'm only getting leather, side bags, premium sound and sports wheel as the factory options. So that should minimise the amount of time they have to have it.

I'll keep my fingers crossed and see how it goes.

This is a new answer to the age old question of "How do you keep a fool in suspense?"

Turbo 6 Do you have a SIDO no. ? If you do, have a look under Richdaves posts in "FPV open day" , in "Ford performance vehicles" section , He took pics of a lot of vehicles in build with SIDO no's on the windscreens.
