General duties BA probable has the e-gas engine @ 160 something fwkw. Not likely potential as a burnout car on a dry tar surface!!!

nice piccy all the same!

In NSW they're petrol. Cat 1 cars such as that have to have all features of the National Standard for Police vehicles (Police pack - certain power output, auto, all safety features, Police rims, HD electrics etc) This goes for GD and HWP vehicles.

There are a couple of Prius running around Sydney, but at this stage most cars are petrol or diesel.

Don;t know of any LPG except those that are part of the SEG and they ahve a car as part of their package

In NSW all new general duties ford sedans are LPG gas as are unmarked detective vehicles. At my station 10,14,35, and 38 are all LPG gas models. 36 and 37 are commondoors. Feel the power of gas.........................

Hmmmm, I'll put up with all the "corupt" police that I have to work with here in Victoria if it means I don't have to drive a dedicated gas police car.

We had a trial AU on gas, and I've got nothing against LPG, the Turbo is only the second car of the six I've owned that hasn't been on gas, but a good police vehicle it did not make.

I am no photoshop expert, so the only thing that looks strange about that picture is its happening during the day, not during nightshift when there are no people around...

All LPG Falcons?

Not where I work

There are none in the Western Suburbs of Sydney (Penrith, St Marys, The Mountains )

There are none in Western Region that I know of (Orange, Bathurst, Lithgow, Cowra, Forbes, Parkes, Dubbo etc) There are none down at Driver Training

So if there are Gas things they must be somewhere else

Probably in one of those marginal Greenie seats or seats where the ALP pander to the Watermelons
