How Long to Wait?

Hi Guys,

It has taken two weeks to get all the required signatures on the Novated Lease docs for the XR6T.

It will be formally ordered by Friday (so they tell me)

Citric Acid, with tint, alarm and premium brakes plus a few minor extras.

How long do reckon before it will be delivered??

I hope its nothing silly like 2-3 months, what are your experiences

Hey Alan...

I am picking up my car tomorrow.... and that is 8 weeks to the DAY. Ordered it on the 24th of April, picking it up on the 24th of June.

Oh yeh... I almost forgot to mention... I CANT WAIT!!!!!

Ordered 19/4 picked up 16/6 (8 weeks I am afraid) ... it is pretty consistent at the moment ... but the wait is worth it ... don't just take anything

Ordered mine 1st April. Still havn't picked it up yet. It arived at the dealer last week but the dealler hadn't sent through the paperwork to the lease company so it's still another about 2weeks before I can pick it up. :cussing:

On the up side I went down on the weekend to give it a look over and I'm more than impressed. One f&*(ing hot looking car, inside and out. Just can't wait to be able to drive it away.

Xr6TBug, Mate dont let the paper work slow you down.Lease companies are painfully ambivalent to your needs. A little bit of friendly encouragement will work wonders.If it as the dealer then it should not be any more than a couple of days away....max. go get em

Sorry to spoil your night/day, bu tmine took exactly 12 weeks......ordered 3rd April and received it 18th June..........with only on esmall problem..........fog lights did not work...

Seems they forgot the fuse .........go figure........

I must admit though that I did also get premium Sound, Sunroof and a few other extras which did delay the normal process.......but it was well worth the wait......still smiling even in my sleep........

Same as Dutchie for me 12 weeks - ordered 23/3 and picked up on 16/6 but I got the lux pack (which was blamed for the delay) and a few other extras. BUT worth every day of the wait - hell I would have waited another 12 if I knew how good it was going to be. Have fun with yours when you get it.

I ordered mine at the beginning of May and was told it would be in town on the 29th. That didn't happen, apparently there was delays in transport. I got it on 16th June!

They stuffed up my order. I ordered a hard top from the factory and it didn't come with it. I specifically asked for it so I didn't get the tonneau clips on the side. There is a dent in the roof and I gave it its first bath on Sunday and noticed the strip is coming off the drivers side door! Not happy! Going back this week. I was told that the hard top would take 3 weeks to arrive as it will also have to come from the factory.

Good luck with your car. Hope it comes soon, untouched and as you ordered it.

Other than that I'm totally happy with my T!
