I dont have any actual experience drag racing in the manual, but I'll try with some simple ideas.Avoid too much wheel spin at the start- it only slows your timeDont hit the rev limiter but get as close as you canWhen launching I'd try about 2000rpm and ride the clutch a bit, prob not good for clutch but will help times. Don't do this too often could be expensive.Let the car cool down as much as possible, when parked always have the bonnet up.If your real keen remove your air filter for a run or 2. Its very unlikely that anything bad will happen. For a bit of a safety margin gaffa tape some pantyhose over the outside intake.
