My car is a manual.

No mods as yet.

Any tips?

I dont have any actual experience drag racing in the manual, but I'll try with some simple ideas.

Avoid too much wheel spin at the start- it only slows your time

Dont hit the rev limiter but get as close as you can

When launching I'd try about 2000rpm and ride the clutch a bit, prob not good for clutch but will help times. Don't do this too often could be expensive.

Let the car cool down as much as possible, when parked always have the bonnet up.

If your real keen remove your air filter for a run or 2. Its very unlikely that anything bad will happen. For a bit of a safety margin gaffa tape some pantyhose over the outside intake. (do this at your own risk as sh*t may happen).

Make sure you chat with the other guys there and have lots of fun.

My stocker did a 14.8 first run I was suprised clutch was fine to.

I might treat it with a bit more respect now. Still not a rotor.

Did a 16 second run had water on the tyres so I gave that slip to my mates swift.
