Not from over revving, from the ECU getting confused because front wheels are still and rear wheels are spinning causing heaps of excess fuel to be dumped in the motor. He reckons he had this problem with his GT, now on his second motor after 7000km because of it. He reckons he knows of two other GTs had the same problem! I've never heard of it before, I'm sure lots of people here have had their stock XR6Ts and GTs dynoed with no ill effects. Doesnt sound right to me though. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/11376-dynoing-no-good-for-your-ba/#findComment-134802 Share on other sites
Ford_Power Member 798 Member For: 22y 1m 14d Posted 19/06/04 02:00 PM Share Posted 19/06/04 02:00 PM hmm sounds a bit dodgy to me.. the only system that will register a fault is the ABS system..... I cant see any reasoning as to why excess fuel being thrown in the engine would make the front wheels get moving.. it makes no logical sense for that to happen.I have my reservations.... Personaly I saw a car broken down on the side of the road the other day, pulled over to see if the guy needed a hand he told me that apperantly it's a common thing and that many different types of vehicles are suseptable to the same thing, it's just a matter of when and where....... Pretty much fine IIRC..A. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/11376-dynoing-no-good-for-your-ba/#findComment-134891 Share on other sites
