18 JULY

Time and place for meeting is BUNNINGS CARPARK CRANBOURNE 9.45am.

From there we cruise down to Grantville and meet up with Miss Aly and hubby and then cruise to Wonthaggi. Miss Aly should have all the details for the photoshoot when she gets back from her WA vacation tommorrow. Then we cruise to Phillip Is where from there we drive into the Nobbies and check out the seals and penguins and depending on the weather we can either BBQ or Takeaway in Cowes, should be a good day :spoton:

Blown BA,

Great job for organising this and also to MsAly for the photo shoot in Wonthaggi....

Weather pending, I think this will be a great day out by all.

I'll bring along a digital camera too so that we can take heaps of pictures.

I think a good one would be a group photo of all the members and then post them on the site...........

I think the forecast for Sunday is rain, so maybe takeaway on Cowes would be the go...

It might be a bit miserable, wet and cold for a BBQ this time of the year......

Especially since I'm bringing the familywith a 5 year old son and 11 month daughter....

What do you think........?

:banghead: Hi Everyone, I have some bad news! I have not heard anything at all from the local paper!!! NOT HAPPY!! Will ring them on Wednesday and try for a 4th time effort, but it looks like they might not be interested.

As for lunch: I recommend the Wonthaggi Club. Its cheap! The meals are great! and there is plenty of seats/tables for everyone. Also a big playroom that is glassed off for the kids!! I will be putting my 3yr old son in there. :glad:

By the time we get to Wonthaggi and have a wee wee stop it will be lunch time. So we can have a meal first all together then head off to Phillip Island afterwards.

We will arrive in Wonthaggi around 11.30am so I can book for 40 people. Is everyone up for this idea? Let me know by Thursday at the latest.

I also mentioned to Blown BA that an idea to do a few laps around the curcuit track in Phillip Island, I spoke with my friend who works there told me it costs and its a long long wait. Not sure of the cost either. Sorry George wont be able to ride the track on Sunday. Maybe another day.

Miss_Aly,

You can count me in for 2 people if that's what everyone else wants to do.

We should try and organise a cruise around the track later in the year when the weather is warmer and the day's are longer.

Sorry people I am unable to make it as well. I have some visitors staying the weekend whom I haven't seen in a long time. I am dissapointed to miss this cruise but I will try to make the next one.

Sorry for the late notice. I only found out today.
