Yeh - that was me in the Maloo and my missus in the Statie.

The Maloo is dead stock(A4) and ran a 13.8 and we just couldnt get the Statie to hook up, definately need some better tyres.

It was good to beat oops I mean meet you Ford guys.

Just a quick question.

Is the winner of a drag race the person who crosses the finish line first?

Do you think with better tyres the Statesman might crack into the 12's? That would be a great achievement if it could.

With the winner of the drags, the winner is the one that crosses first but I believe that in socila drags like we had at calder more attention is paid to th ET and MPH and the actual winners are not really noticed. I think I ran CLUBVX in an early run I beat him fairly easily but we both ran PB's and there was a lot more interest in the PB's than me haven beaten him. I think winning the runs is only important if you're actually competing against the car next to and not so interested in getting PB's.

Geea. :kissmy:
