I hope your fly stayed up all that time. When you take the hose off and expose the TB,what sort of crap is on it? where does it come from,K@N filter perhaps, thankvikVik it comes from crankcase vapour which is routed back into the manifold right before the throttle body Shouldnt we put the PCV returne after the TB then?vik Only problem that oil vapour drastically alters air fuel ratios we could then end up with and intake full off oil vapour, plumbing this before the tb also ensures that it is evenly distributed between all cylinders (but so would a inlet just after the throttle body)

I've had the throttle body replaced with a new unit and my car still stalled the very next day!! I've replaced the Canister Purge Valve Solenoid, Throttle Body, Throttle Pedal Assembly and the Engine Wiring harness in that order with 2-3 weeks driving between each item being replaced to see if there's any real difference yet my car still STALLS! My dealers shortly replacing the PCM with a new unit to see if that resolves this issue!Luckily I've a very helpful dealer who's determined to find the source of this very annoying problem despite my car never stalling WHILST he's driven it!Will inform everyone if I rectify this issue :cussing:

IM2QIK Member 84 Member For: 21y 3m 20d Posted 15/06/04 03:32 AM Share Posted 15/06/04 03:32 AM Hey Scotty,Yeah maybe I have another issue ... BUT funny how my symptoms are the same as everone elses. Like Jeff I've had all the PCM Reflashes and the Canister Purge Valve Solenoid replaced but to no avail.Surely a little oily film from the crankcase breather should'nt hinder the throttle bodys performance to the extent the car stalls? My new Throttle Bodys been in use 3 months now and I've just pulled it off ... there's only an ever so slight oily residue ... nothing really ...Many other brands of new cars have the Crankcase vented before the throttle body but dont stall Best of luck to anyone carrying out this new FORD TSB on cleaning the Throttle Body to fix the stalling I think I'll just add this to my FORD TSB's WITCH DOCTOR VOO DOO LIST to fix the stalling problem being Canister Purge Valve Solenoid, PCM B30 Reflash and now Throttle Body cleaning cheers
