ZapXR6T sorry to hear that your problems started from the word go and after 6400 km our car is not as it should be either.Have,nt driven it for weeks (wife main driver)went on a cruise yesterday and found noticeable constant vibration from rear of car from 120 kph onwards(overtaking of course)One of the Blokes on the cruise suggested an out of balance tailshaft ,so as a precaution I,ll get the wheel balance checked and probably then off to the dealer to see about the tailshaft.

Am l right to presume that the drive line shunt and diff clunk is mostly in the MANUALS?

I have a slight clunk when the auto drops down a gear not really bothering me that much as I dont drive the car that hard but will be cautiously watching and ifit becomes annoying they will here about it .

Not good enough though ford should do better.

You,re right Blown BA its a manual.

The half shafts have too much play in them causing drive line clunks, I have had them replaced on my XR8 and the new shafts are just as bad. I am seriously thinking about buying the 1000HP shafts from KPM, they are just so expensive.
