igsta Member 371 Member For: 21y 4m 14d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 10/06/04 10:19 AM Share Posted 10/06/04 10:19 AM I am trying to track down some clear tail lights. I have seen a few which are chrome and red inside, like missxr. I think they look ok but I am trying to find ones which are just clear. No red, only when lights come on. Any info or pics would be great.

Beware they are not street legal as they have no reflective red in them and finding a decent red dual element brake light is a real pain. The red globes that come with them are a pinky colour. I have tried lens dye, led replacement globes (You will need to modify your globe socket use an earlier model Ford socket to try new globes.)I have since installed my own leds drilled into the rear of the light wired up with thier own release socket.Good luck
