Had my ute in for its 15k service today and a few warranty issues I asked them to look at my D/S window that it clunked rather loud anyway when I picked it up they told me the clunk was within factory specifications, service guy had a funny look on his face when I toldhim typical laughed and walked out shaking my head.

Mr ford how do you do it!! :w00t2:

another ford in my garage I think NOT

Yep,

Have a similar problem, so if anyone has worked out how to fix it, please let me / us know.

I assume there must be a limit switch on the window somewhere...

from memory its a lead of some sort that gets stuck on a bolt when the window is winding... when it gets enough tension it flings over the bolt causing the clunk... the bolt is not needed in the ba and needs to get cut off... it is there for the au only.

Nupe, my clunk sounds a lot more like the window over-driving and hitting the end of the window travel as speed rather than gently...

I have my 05T going in for its 15k service next week and have heard alot of members mention extra power gains after servicing by getting things like re-mapping etc done. My car is running fine but is there anything I should be getting the dealership to do that could improve performance (apart from trading up to a Typhoon!). Cheers
