cheers guys.

I wanted a sunroof, and was skeptical of getting a factory fitted one from ford. I am located in sydney and will check out Prestige Sunroofs and see if they can work a deal, I would like to get the 'rolle edge' aswell, are you sure its $1000 more? what are the benefits of this rolled edge fordboy?

Rolled edge gives a more professional finish. Check out BMW factory sunroofs for example. Disadvantage, apart from cost, is the need to respray the roof. When I ordered my T, my then current car (Maxima) had a rolled edge factory sunroof. After a careful side by side comparison, I decided it wasn't worth the expense or hassle. Closed appearance was very similar. I definitely haven't regretted not ordering the rolled edge version and I'd do the same again.

well we used to charge an extra $1000, my personal opinion is that the rolled-edge looks HEAPS better due to the glass sitting flush with the turret...

if you're fussy about your cars, you will definiately agree it's worth the extra $1000...

Dave.
