Well the ute did arrive last Tues and was to be delivered yesterday but ...

While fitting the alarm, which requires a new BCM, a major glitch occurred and apparently the BCM is now history. Ford technical services has been helping my dealer try to sort the problem for two days now but to no avail - They are now awaiting some further technical assistance from Bosch.

So sorry guys but no pics of the new wheels yet - they are up at the tyre shop just patiently waiting ... I'm having a little trouble (seeing the car every day now) trying to be patient also. Thankfully my son is away on exercises (army) for another week and is not aware of the glitch.

Atleast the 'glitch' :pinch: happened to them and not on delivery, what a barstard of a thing to have happen.

I saw a Gunmetal Grey BA XR at the dealer yesterday with what looked like 19" alloys, looked very similar to Late model camira GTS ones. Looked good.

Alarm sorted, so down to the tyre place to have the rims fitted. Well we had a glitch with the rear tyres for the new rims. They sent the wrong size - and now don't have any of the correct size tyres in stock. BUGGER, now it's a mismatch of brands from front to rear - have now got to put Yokos on the rear as they are about all that's available at the moment in 265 40 17.

Will post the pics soon ... I hope ...

Well to continue the saga - the Yokos were also "unavailable at present" - so we have Toyos. Anyhow all is good now and here is a pic of the wheels I promised oh so long ago ...
