I have foglight protectors and I think they paid themselves off yesterday.

Was on the freeway when a King parrot flew straight into the left foglight.

I was doing about 140kmh at the time so it was a good whack. There were feathers in and around the protector, but no damage at all.

I dunno if a parrot would have broken the light, but I was happy to have them.

It sorta exploded into a pile of feathers.

I have fitted MANY sets of foglight protectors to XR's, they do fit, trust me. Unless your foglight is not sitting correctly ie ita already copped a hit from something and has become dislodged, 10 mins absolute tops.

just fitted covers to my t, only took 5 mins.

the longest part was convincing my dealer that they actully made covers for the t.

when I gave him the part number sx15k233aa he said it was a ford territory 2004 part number.

territory or not they fitted like a dream and will stop further sandblasting of the fog lights.

The foglights are glass, so you might want to get the protectors for them, but with the headlights, I doub't you'd need them :)

Glenn is spot on. :censored: Icracked my foglight within the 1st week of ownership.

Its Ironic, the covers vost the best part of $50, and so do the Hella Fog lamps. SO really, if you break one, get a new one. If you never break one, then you save your self $100.
