I hate to say it, me being Nizpro's mouthpeace and all, but the APS exhaust would have to be the best looking, neatest mass produced system available in OZ.

That said, lots of testing has suggested to us that the only real protagonist in the factory exhaust system is the catalytic converter. Replace this with a quality version - such as is supplied by APS - and as suggested by Vik351, you can achieve extremely good power levels without backpressure problems.

Sometimes it's worth stepping back and sussing where it's best spending money. If performance is paramount, then spend your money on things that deliver power. If a nice note is everything, you know what to do.

HI Peter,

To be honest with you I was going by memory with my last post and I was fairly sure I was told about 3000 plus a 700 cat convertor.

So I spend an hour today going through my emails and I found that email.......MY BAD it was actually 2500 that I was told for the whole thing. This wasnt a definate price though as I was told that you guys are still finalising pricing.

Stupid memory LOL failed me yet once again :)

No Problem at all........ I know there are that many mods and prices to remember.....it's easy for any one of us to make a mistake with a price.

By memory the APS full turbo back exhaust is approx $1925 including the high flow 3.5" cat .............That's why I feel it's really good value for money ...........and a really good place to start if you want to build a powerful T. :spoton:

Yeah that's a good price for the exhaust, especially one of quality like the APS one.

Out of curiosity, is it a 3.5" exhaust or a 3" exhaust ???

Furthermore, can the exhaust be custom made, say for example if I want to fit the exhaust to my car, but I wanted it louder, can you guys to that or does it HAVE to meet the standards ????

Yeah it was and still is one of our main targets (that is to keep the full turbo back exhaust system price very affordable) to produce a system that is capable of handling up tp 600 HP and keeping NVH down to a minimum. :gooff:

The exhaust system components sizes are,

1) engine pipe 3''

2) Cat converter 3.5''

3) Intermediate pipe 3.5''

4) Intermediate muffler 3.5'' entry (internally splits into twin 2.5'')

5) Tail pipe and rear muffler Twin 2.5".

This is the only way we currently sell the APS full turbo back exhaust system and I would prefer not to make the exhaust system any louder (when it's used at phase III power level it's got an awesome exhaust note) you see the higher power you produce the louder the exhaust note becomes, and ultimately we believe that most customers want an exhaust system that does not drive you insane over a 2 hour drive.

If you had to have a louder exhaust (not more powerful) you could remove the rear muffler, and just utilise twin 2.5'' pipes instead of the rear muffler. This APS does not offer this option though it would be an easy for an exhaust shop to perform this task. :tosser:
