To be honest, you have a beautiful looking car, why spoil it with a black piece of plastic over the front that makes it look crap, id rather pay for the respray every 12 months if chips bother you that much.

Alot of people I know here have been fitting their cars with a clear bra that is applied to the car using a clear film. I dont know where anyone could get it in Australia, but it is hardly noticable and does stop rock chips happening... here is a link to some Subarus here in the usa with it fitted. (the very first red one and a couple of the silver bug eye are the best pic to acctually see the film.)
