Well done turb06.

I wanna go to Willobank to.

Just got my car fixed today so it's no longer hitting the boost cut. (but I have to wait till tomorrows cold morning to be sure)

Is there a website to give dates for T&T nights?

Hey Not Scotty, ya gunna come and finally kill whats left of your rear tires??

www.willowbank-raceway.com.au

This will tell you what you want to know, I am going to the next T&T after the winternats, the track should be super sticky after them, as long as it doesnt rain.

Hey trbo6,

do you know the owner of the 13.6 T ?? I would be interested to know what set up he/she ran. ( ie tyre pressures 60ft time )

Venom XR6, in the interests of science I intend to run my car at the next WSID meet sans XR8 snorkel and cover up the hole in the airbox to see what the STOCK car would run.

After racing "stock" SS commodores at WSID I think that the terminology is quite ambiguous.

Cheers

turbo06: Did you stall the car up?? If not that's whats letting you down. You wont regret the phase 1 aps kit. I ran a 13.3 in full street trim in my mate's (killbot) Blood Orange Auto XR6T Sedan. This was only the unichip upgrade too.

Surely if he's gone to the effort to buy a T and race it then he knows to stall it up.

yeah I stalled it up to a bit over 2000rpm, my first run was a shocker I got all nervous and confused and forgot to stall it up and still had my windows down and air con on, ran a 15.38. after that it was all good. It wasnt a cool night either it was still 22 degrees at 8:30 so when it gets colder I might get closer to a 14.2.

No it was at WSID. I think it was a pac performance car. So doubt it would have been standard. But he told me it was and after looking under the bonnet I couldn't see anything out of the ordinary. Maybe a different diff ratio.

would love to but the budget doesnt let me.  Out of curiosity what would the price of a phase 2 with auto and valce springs be?

It's Willowbank, not one of them downhill ski slopes the southerners use. :spoton:

I am an egnineering surveyor and our firm did the engineering works for the redevelopment of that track. I nearly fell off my chair in the office when I contoured the bloody thing and it ran up hill for the entire 400m and downhill for the braking area. You can blame drainage for that one as well as Ipswich being flat as a tack.

The phase II system is $5791 installed and tuned including before and after power graphs (this includes the new UNICHIP plug in loom adaptor) it would be best to speak with one of our Brisbane dealers regarding prices for the Auto trans and valve spring upgrade, if you need any more info send me a pm and I will assist you further. :spoton:
