Guest Modi Guests Posted 01/06/04 10:16 AM Share Posted 01/06/04 10:16 AM April 04 build only done 1600kms no shudder at all. Bit too much travel in the brake pedal though for my liking. Breaks feel a little spongy. I will get lines bled and pedal adjusted at the 3000km service Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/11072-do-later-models-have-better-brakes/page/2/#findComment-129215 Share on other sites

The brakes are ok and they stop the car quite well but the pedal is just a little to spongy for my liking. I've gotta press the pedal a little to far to get the car to stop. Brakes are a bit firm on the pedal to start with but you get used to it pretty quickly. Same. 10,000 clicks and nothing resembling break fade, squeal or shudder!
