HI All,

Just a quick one.

My mate has a 99 AU ute 5.0L (not the xr8) supercab.

He wants to fit 19 inch rims to it. Not too concerned with width just yet, mainly just want to know if fitting 19 inch diameter is going to cause problems and go from there.

Does anyone have or know of anyone with 19s fitted to an AU?

Thanx,

Pete.

You can even put 19x9s on the rear if you have the money for the tyres.

In my opinion there is not much advantage to go larger than 17s unless you have really humungous brake calipers that you have to cover.

I think they have to be rated to carry the car + 1 tonne for the XL/XLS? I'm prolly wrong though, my uncle has a V8 XL and said he couldn't change the wheels for this reason. hmm seems a bit wierd though :spoton:
