l am glad to hear it in a way Doc.

The only way we will teach the clowns at Ford not to treat their customers with disdain is to hit them in the hip pocket. Even then l dont know if they give a sh*t :spoton:

Gotta agree with WhiteTee. I think the Typhoon will be an awesome machine but if they don't do something about the driveline I would'nt be interested. It's bad enough with a whining clunking $50k car, let alone dropping $70k on a car that sounds just as bad! :spoton:

:nono:

Totally agree, with the clunks, thumps and period noise from the diff plus the rollover chatter from the TREMEC and now the cluych issues surfacing on modded GTs I lost my faith and cancelled my order for the Typhoon yesterday. I love the cars and the GT but I ain't forking out another near $70000 for something that will probably clunk and thump and whine (I can do those things well enough myself).

No wonder this great country of ours is seen as the manfacturing joke of the western world :pooh: . NOT GOOD ENOUGH FORD. The entire QC issue should have been sorted by the series 2 AU 3 years ago

Yeh Rick, agree the manuals have a few issues, I must say, your GT will be quicker, and sound heaps better than the Typhoon, and in my opinion, still look better, bonnet bulge and all. I too don't believe Ford will have fixed the drive line yet. You my friend have a Typhoon beater now in my opinion. Good idea to wait and see if Ford have addressed the driveline issues, also Peter (APS) has something special in the pipeline, and you wont have to worry about Ford driveline components in that thing, cause it'll all need to be replaced, to handle the 520rwkw!!!!! Might even need a new drivers seat to handle the G forces pushing ones ass out the back. :pooh:

Cheers Rob

I've heard the five speed Tremec is on the way out so gearbox noise may be a thing of the past but it's yet to be seen if the driveline shunt will be eliminated. Surely it can't be too hard to fix. I think Ford are just being cheap bastards, although you think they would realise it will cost them more in the long run when they keep losing customers because of crap like this. I think Dana are mostly to blame though.

No way would I be entertaining the idea of getting a F6, I'm pretty lucky with the shunt issue on my GT.

Weak clutch pressure plate is a different story, Ford.....you cheap................B@STARDS!!!! :punchhead:

I suppose they will try the same thing with the HO when it comes out, not that I will be able to afford one of those!

It just p!sses me off that I have to get an after market pressure plate to pick up another 10kws.
