It 'whirs' for the first 30 secs of motion like it has a dry bearing, only happens when car is moving so it isn't engine relatedGenerally its got bad shift quality when cold and a lot of the time under medium acceration/load it's like it gets 'stuck' part way between gear changes its liek you're in a mechnical limbo... massive'flat spot' in shift. What's yours doing?A. Then it was checked by the company who manufactures them, I am told "it is within it's parameters" so I have just given up as I tested 2 others and they did not have the problem. Apparently their excuse is it is how the gears are cut and it's to take the power loading that the T produces. This is the line Ford are also taking with me. I want to know why then does it not occur in every other gear, and why does it go away? Between you and me I have never heard so much bullsh*t in my life. Basicall they are saying it's in it's parameters for the cheap we produce.Mate I am at the stage where once I get the diff done then I am settling for what I have until my lease gives me the ability to flogg it off.
