Man, you got to keep the spoiler. The spoiler does not advertise you as a Turbo...it advertises you as an XR6. To suggest that you wish to hide this fact means you also need to remove the side-skirts and front end. Both features that distinguish the XR6 from a standard XT.

The boot chrome part thingy is called:

Luggage Compartment Ornament

Ford Part Number BA F43504C

Cost - approx $110

I reckon it looks unreal on blueprint :wasklywabbit:

:ibrungatorch:

:hammerhead: I'd like to see what it looks like on Blueprint.

Thanks

Thanks Zeke, great shot! I can photochop the chrome onto the LS car like so....

We have a winner. How hard is it to put on? Piece of cake?

The spoiler aint going anywhere by the way. The car needs to be lowered and that isn't happening!

Very tricky, Maxx....and it does look good on the LS.

Fitting it is no drama - hey, I did it without a single :ibrungatorch:

Pity you don't want mercury silver instead of chrome - could sell you one of those real cheap.

No worries mate, thanks for the help.

I don't know anyone that would want a mercury silver one! Unless someone with a Ghia would trade for some bizarre reason.

Have seen the chrome boot trim on Black before would give a jelly fish a horn looked awesome even considered putting on mine just can't get my head around $120 for some chrome plastic. On another note I get my car serviced at the same place as Scotty and even the service manager gives his car a huge wrap as to how good it looks a real sleeper can't wait to see it in the flesh.

Keep the spoiler.

The boot chrome part thingy looks terrific on the monochromatic colours, but IMO ain't so flash on the brighter colours.

I got Blueprint & put black pin striping in the grooves in both the front & rear bumpers. Looks great IMO. Not overpowering, just subtle & attenuates the width of the car, ie. the car looks to have a wider & lower profile than it really has. At least that's what I & my wife think!
