Actually No.Ive owned 8 turbos in 4 years an im 22 does that make me an expert like you mate no it doesnt... those cars are not POS ET pulsars, or tx3s im talking bout genuine 12sec and 11sec WRXs, skylines, Maily imports including converted mk2 escort running a 2L silvia motor mock em all you want man they are better built cars then XRs, only let down for them is cost of modding an interior space, Most of the parts on those cars were put there buy me not just bought and claimed as what I had done. The reason I went the xr is cost of modding is ridiculously cheap and they are a bigger car can fit 4 mates in comfy, im not a mechanic an by no means wanna be champ cars are a hobby im at uni in my last sem finishin my degree. The only car I owned that really disapointed me in a while was my first XR6 turbo hence why I flogged it off in 6 weeks, if I get bored I sell it, I gave the second one a chance goes a lot harder its by no means fast but its alright for near on 2 tonne. Before you comment bout technical stuff and for your information champ most turbos of new car technology arent watercooled The xr is basically it here with thermosyphin no other aussie cars using turbos and other turbo cars on the market run smaller turbos for better driveability and pokieness.I believe you were one of the people that were like o dont drive your car with a cooler on stock tune itll snap or bend a rod, yeh most people didnt listen and back then I told you why I believed it wouldnt make a difference but hey I was so wrong when plazaman and senna all expressed the same beliefs .... O that's right now alot of people do it because it doesnt affect anything. Also TTs come with a handbrake wire if youd care to do any research any guesses as to what this does.... anyone?MMMM yeh that's right once the hand brake looses an earthed connection what so ever the car dies, legally that's how all turbo timers should be wired but people rush or watever and fit them incorrectly so serves em right if they are stolend, Without a key it then immobilised as the key is needed to start a falcon cant just be hotwired. MM people need to research stuff before blasting people and having no idea themselves.Alot of posts on here have been a laugh anyways so good for showing the people who dont have anything meaniful to contribute..Side note 72 what I was speaking bout with the CT12 turbos on the 7mGTEs was why you used a turbo timer hey? Skylines have the same problem lols way I fixed that was with a high mount 3040R garrett good thing it was to. When I let off the handbrake mine conks instantly and a thief isnt gonna drive leaving it on of course he is gonna let it off eliminates the theory of theft though
