That's what I do and its allot easier and cheaper then getting a turbo timer. Lets the engine run for a minute or so in the driveway. They can be had for as little as $50 now so cost isn't the issue, they're just not necessary if you don't thrash the balls off it all the way into your driveway then turn it straight off.
