Ok it being constantly thrashed? Police can't just thrash a car on the streets, they also have to set an example right, so it would be thrashed when needed? not constantly ?.

It is not up to us to set an example to mature adults. Our job is not to educate, but to catch those that want to go outside what the community expects.

Mature adults should make their own decisions based upon what is right and acceptable to the majority.

As far as Traction control is concerned, it is not fitted to the SS in NSW, as part of the Police Pack agreed upon by the manufacturer and the NSW Police.

And quite rightly so----traction control is nothing but a hinderance. The thing I cannot stand with the Ford is that bloody traction control is fitted - it is incredibly sensitive anda well trained driver has no need for traction control if he is smooth with all throttle and steering inputs.

The sooner they can the TC on the Ford the better.

As far as everything else. the Police Packs (Ford/GM) get the best brakes, sideairbags and both front airbags, as well as a modified trans shifter with a different style of gate (much better for our use) plus other stuff.

They are exceptionally good value cars and I would certainly buy an ex HWP car.
